The Solar Equipment’s Development Unit affiliated to the Renewable Energies Development Center (UDES/EPST CDER), received on Sunday. October 12th, 2025, Mr. A. Mouley, Wali of the Wilaya of Tipaza, accompanied by the local authorities.
Mr.the Wali was welcomed by Dr. Abbas, Director of the Solar Equipment’s Development Unit (UDES / EPST CDER), in the presence of Mr. K. Imessad, Deputy Director at the (EPST / CDER), the two division heads and the team leaders of UDES / EPST CDER.

Mr.the Wali received explanations concerning the various research projects developed within the unit, through a visit to the outdoor experimental platform, where various prototypes illustrating the research work carried out within the unit are exhibited, namely: the intelligent solar house, the solar greenhouse and some prototypes developed within the framework of the National Research Projects (PNR):

• Développement d’une chambre de culture hydroponique au niveau de la ferme ITELV
• Système de nettoyage pour centrales solaires et photovoltaïques.
• Système de traitement tripartite pour l'épuration des eaux usées en vue de leur réutilisation dans le secteur agricole.
• Refroidissement solaire d'un élevage de volailles en utilisant l'énergie solaire.
• Développement d'une chambre de culture d'orge en utilisant l’énergie solaire.
• L’Éclairage intelligent.

The researchers provided him with detailed information about the operating mode of each prototype .


For his part, Mr. the Wali praised the researchers' efforts and their contributions to the development of the renewable energies sector in Algeria.
