The Solar Equipment Development Unit, UDES / EPST CDER, received on October 2^nd , 2024, a Libyan delegation from the Ministry of Oil and Gas. The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Abbas, Director of the Unit in the presence of the Director of EPST CDER, Pr. Abdelbaki, the Deputy Director at EPST / CDER, Mr. K. Imessaad and the two heads of divisions of UDES.

After a brief welcome speech given by the Director of UDES / EPST CDER Dr. Abbas and Prof. Abdelbaki, Director of the EPST / CDER, the head of external relations Mr. Abdelaadim presented the EPST CDER and the activities of the various research units affiliated to it.

This visit aims to exchange of experiences and discuss on the possibilities of partnerships between the two countries.

It comes to consolidate and promote bilateral relations in the renewable energies sector, in particular through the development of cooperative research projects that should engage the skills of the two countries.

Subsequently, the photovoltaic platform and the ER2 subsidiary of the CDER were presented by Dr. Bouchakour.

Finally, the delegation visited the outdoor experimental platform, where different prototypes developed within the unit are exhibited. Detailed explanations were provided by the researchers and the director of the unit regarding the operating mode of each prototype.
