The Solar Equipment Development Unit (UDES/EPST CDER) hosted an awards ceremony on July 14th, 2024, of the fourth edition of the competition intended for high school students “Academy of Young Creators in Renewable Energies - an idea, a project , a challenge ". This competition was organized in coordination with the Education Directorate of the Wilaya of Tipasa. The ceremony took place in the presence of:

• Pr. N. Abdelbaki, Director of the Renewable Energies Development Center (EPST / CDER),
• Mr. F. Tebboune, Director of Education of the Wilaya of Tipasa,
• Dr. Sellami, representative of the High Commission for Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency,
• Dr.Tassalit, representative of the General Director of Scientific Research and Technological Development,
• Ms. Chader, deputy director of university cooperation and research programs at the DGRSDT.

The ceremony was marked by the presence of renowned scientists: Dr. Kasbadji .N and Dr. Mentalecheta .Y, winners of the “Wissam el –Alem El djazairi”. Executives from the Ministry of Education of the Wilaya of Tipasa were also present.
The official opening of the ceremony was given by Prof. Abdelbaki N.

The 07 projects, submitted to the Solar Equipment’s Development Unit (UDES/EPST CDER), were evaluated after their presentation by the students by a specialized bilateral commission, according to the following criteria:

• The idea of the project
• Project report
• Project implementation
• Project display.

After deliberation the ranking was as follows:

• The first prize was awarded to the technical high school, Ali Chentir (Cherchell).


• The second prize was awarded to Si benyoucef kadour high school (Fouka),


and Khlifa Tayeb (Hamer el Ain).


• The third prize was awarded to the high schools:
  Sidi Ali Mebarek (Kolea)


And
• Mohamed Talbi (Tipasa).


• The fourth prize was awarded to Ahmed Cherif Bousmaha high school (Tipasa).

A certificate of encouragement was awarded to Yahiya Rahmani high school (Damous).

On the sidelines of this ceremony, the name of the first director of UDES/EPST CDER, Belel Brahim, was given to the Unit's conference room.

The ceremony closed with the awarding of prizes to the winning pupils .

Honorary certificates were given to all the participants in this event, as well as to the members of the evaluation and organizing committee.
