The Solar Equipments Development Unit UDES/EPST CDER participated in the celebration of "World Environment Day" organized by the Environment Department of the wilaya of Tipaza on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025 at the cultural complex "Abdelwahabe Salim" Chenoua ", Tipaza



The official inauguration of the event was made by the Wali of the wilaya of Tipasa Mr. Ali Mouley, in the presence of the local authorities and the Directors of the environment of the different Wilayas of the country.

The participants emphasized the main goal of organizing such an event, which is to instill the importance of environmental protection in different sections of society through simple actions, including recycling waste to reduce environmental pollution.

An exhibition was organized. The presence of UDES / EPST CDER was marked through a stand where some banners were exhibited illustrating the different areas and research projects of the unit in the renewable energies sector, in particular: desalination, water treatment and purification , solar photovoltaic (drying, solar water heating).



On this occasion, partnership agreements were signed between the Environment Department of the wilaya of Tipaza and the Environment Departments of other wilayas such as that of Tissimssilt.

On the other hand, pupils winners of the competition organized by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications as well as pupils members of the association "النادي البيئي" were honored for their efforts and involvement in environmental protection.
