Study Day on the Industrialization of the Solar Water Heater at UDES

The Solar Equipments Development Unit affiliated to the Renewable Energies Development Center (UDES / EPST CDER) received on Tuesday. December 07th, 2021 a ministerial delegation composed of Mr. A.Benziane, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research , Mr. Benattout and Mr. Zaghdar respectively Ministers of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies and Minister of Industry as well as Mr. Minister of Vocational Training Y. Merabi in the presence of Mr. the Wali of the wilaya of Tipaza Mr. Bousseta, Mr. Head of the Daïra of Bou Ismail and local authorities, and the leading staff of the EPST CDER.
This visit is part of the study day organized by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies in collaboration with the National Agency for the Promotion and Rationalization of the energy use "APRUE" and the Renewable Energies Development Center (EPST / CDER). This day was organized in the frame work of the solar water heater industrialization operation launched jointly by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies and the Ministry of Industry.
The welcome address given by Mr. Abbas, Director of the Solar Equipments Development Unit (UDES / EPST CDER) and a presentation of the various research activities of the Unit was followed by the speeches of the Minister of Higher Education And Scientific Research Mr. A.Benziane, Mr. Zaghdar Minister of Industry as well as Mr. Mirabi, Minister of Vocational Training who emphasized the importance of the industrialization of products from the scientific research sector and the need for a good synergy between the two sectors.
On the other hand, presentations were given regarding the solar water heater:
♦ Presentation 1: presentation of CDER, Dr. Hadj Arab, Director of EPST CDER.
♦ Presentation 2: Process of setting up the industrialization project for solar water heaters.
♦ Presentation 3: Industrialization of solar water heaters.
♦ Presentation 4: performance tests protocol of solar water heaters CDER
♦ Presentation5: Manufacturing process of the solar water heater prototype .
Finally, a visit of the solar water heater prototypes to be tested and the various outdoor experimental platforms of the Solar Equipments Development Unit (UDES), namely, one dedicated to housing, another to the agriculture, one for the electricity production , one for the treatment and desalination of water and finally the eco-educational platform specially dedicated to pupils visiting the Unit.
