Official visit of a Nigerian delegation to UDES

The Solar Equipments Development Unit, UDES / EPST CDER, affiliated to the Renewable Energy Development Center, EPST CDER, received on Wednesday August 25th, 2021 a Nigerian delegation from the National Institute of Strategic Studies accompanied by executives from the National Institute of Global Studies. The delegation was received by Mr. Tassalit, Director of the Solar Equipment Development Unit UDES / EPST CDER in the presence of the Wali of Tipasa Ms. ouinez. L, Mr. The Director of the National Institute of Strategic Relations and the Director of EPST CDER, Mr. Hadj Arab.
After a brief welcome speech from the Director of UDES Mr.Tassalit, followed by a presentation led by the Director of CDER, Mr. Hadj Arab, on the EPST CDER and the various research units affiliated to it , as well as the various research and development activities carried out within the EPST. Mr. Hadj Arab also mentioned the various partnerships and collaboration between Algeria and Nigeria, particularly in the field of renewable energies.
Then, a presentation of UDES was given by Mr. Tassalit while emphasizing its missions and its research and development activities.
In her speech, Mrs. the Director of Studies of the National Institute of Strategic Studies presented the Institute insisting on the importance of renewable energies and of this visit which is an opportunity to exchange experiences between the two parties .
Discussions were held with a view to defining cooperation opportunities between the two parties, particularly in the field of the renewable energies use .
The delegation then visited the Unit's laboratories and the various outdoor experimental platforms, namely, one dedicated to housing, another to agriculture, one to electricity production and water treatment.
