Award ceremony of the: "Academy of Young Creators in the Field of Renewable Energies" Competition on the occasion of the Independence and Youth Day celebration .

  On the occasion of the celebration of the Youth and Independence Day, the Solar Equipments Development Unit (UDES) hosted an award ceremony on July 05th, 2021 as part of the competition organized in coordination with the Education Directorate of the Wilaya of Tipasa, on renewable energies intended for high school students, under the title "The Academy of Young Creators in Renewable Energies - an idea, a project, a challenge" in the presence of M. Hadj Arab, Director of the EPST CDER and of M. Yassaa Commissioner of the Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency Commission, M .Tassalit, Director of the Solar Equipment Development Unit (UDES / EPST CDER), Prof. T. Sahraoui, Director of studies at the General Directorate of Scientific Research (DGRSDT) representative of Mr. The General Director of Scientific Research, Mr. MF. Teboune Director of Education of the Wilaya of Tipasa and Ms. the General Secretary of education of the Wilaya of Tipasa.

  The objective of the competition is to initiate and sensitize pupils to the importance of renewable energies in the preservation of the environment, to popularize and sensitize children on the importance of renewable energies and the development of innovation and creation of a spirit of creativity of high school pupils.

  The projects were delivered and collected at the level of the National Education Directorate of the Wilaya of Tipaza to be evaluated by a specialized commission in accordance with the following criteria:
   ♦ Project idea.
   ♦ Project report.
   ♦ Project implementation.
   ♦ Project display.


  After a welcome speech given by M. Tassalit, Director of the Solar Equipments Development Unit (UDES / EPST CDER), followed by the intervention of the General Secretary of Education of the Wilaya of Tipasa and the presentatiopns of M. Hadj Arab, Director of the EPST CDER and M Yassaa commissioner of the renewable energies and energy efficiency commission as well as an encouraging speech from Pr. T. Sahraoui, the three best works were presented by the pupils according to the results evaluations issued by the competition evaluation committee. The three best selected projects are:


  1. Operation of a solar-powered gas station in the Algerian desert - Ahmed Ould Turki- high school BouIsmail.

  2. Model solar-powered high school - Ali Al-Barkani High School, Menasar.

  3. Control of a bell and outdoor lighting using solar energy - Ali Chantir Technic-high school , Cherchell .
