Participation of the Renewable Energies Development Center (EPST CDER) and the Solar Equipments Development Unit (UDES / EPST CDER), in the Innovation Days 2021.

The Renewable Energies Development Center (EPST CDER) and the Solar Equipments Development Unit (UDES / EPST CDER) participated in the 2021 Innovation Days represented by their directors, Mr. Hadj Arab and Mr. Tassalit, respectively and by Drs Igoud and Mahrane.
The opening speeches were given by Mr. C. Chitour Minister of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies, Dr. K. Bouzar, Assistant Secretary-General, Director of the Regional Office for Arab States. (UNDP), Ms. B. Aliko Resident Representative of UNDP in Algeria.
As part of these days, PNUD Algeria and the Ministry of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies organized a conference on energy transition in Algeria entitled "Innovation Days 2021: towards a Sustainable and Innovative Energy transition". this conference aims to bring together a multitude of actors, namely the government, the private sector, civil society, academia, science clubs and the innovation ecosystem, in order to strengthen the existing dynamics of cooperation , to federate energies and to act as a catalyst for innovative approaches in the acceleration of the energy transition and the development of renewable energies.
Innovation Days are aimed to the national partners, encouraging the participation of officials from government, civil society, academia, the private sector and those from innovation ecosystems, among others.
These days took place in two parts:
1-Plenary session inaugurated by Mr. C. Chitour Minister of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies, Mrs. B. Aliko Resident Representative of the UNDP in Algeria. Followed by workshops.
♦ Workshop 1: Development and Promotion of Renewable Energies in Algeria.
♦ Workshop 2: Development and Promotion of Efficiency
♦ Workshop 3: R and D, training and local breeding grounds for innovation in renewable energies and energy efficiency.
♦ Workshop 4: Social Responsibility and employability.
2-Panels :
♦ Panel 1: Development of Renewable Energies and energy efficiency,(program / legislation / investment).
♦ Panel 2: Innovation, technology and wealth creation in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency.
